Do you worry your diet is lacking in nutrients? Juices are a fast way to stockpile vitamins and minerals, and are great for breakfast or a mid-morning snack. Plus, the infinite number of fruit and veg combinations means it’s easy to find a flavor that tastes great to you.

Adding Hemp Protein ramps up the nutrient value of any juice. Hemp contains both soluble (regulates blood sugar) and insoluble (aids metabolism) fiber, around 10grams per serving, half the recommended daily intake. Each serving contains around 3grams of fat, of the hard-to-find omega-3 in the right ratio to omega-6, good for heart health and reducing inflammation.

Though the protein profile of hemp is one of the strongest plant-based proteins, containing all 9 essential amino acids, it’s low on lysine and leucine. However, it’s high in tyrosine and arginine, which produces a gas molecule in the body that’s been shown to lead to lowered blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Plus, PoweredbyNature’s hemp protein powder is made from organic germinated seeds so the nutrients have been converted into their most digestible form. Along with protein and fiber, hemp is a great source of iron, magnesium, zinc, copper, thiamin, phosphorus, manganese and vitamin E.

When combined these nutrients provide a host of anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant benefits that help the body achieve optimum performance or maintain homeostasis and prevent illness.

Need some juice ideas?

Add 2-3 tablespoons (approx. 11grams of protein) of PoweredbyNature’s Germinated Hemp Seed Protein to the following juices to power your body through the day. If you find the hemp protein powder is too dry to go through your juicer, just add a drop of water.

Juice Combinations

Carrot, Beetroot, Apple, Ginger & Hemp Juice

This juice is a great detox formula, particularly good for cleansing the liver. Carrots are a great source of vitamins C and K as well as various B vitamins, while beet is full of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory phytonutrients. Ginger aids digestion. Because much of the fiber in the apple, carrot and beetroot is lost in the juicing process, hemp replaces the lost fiber and adds protein, essential fatty acids and all those good phytonutrients to this tasty cherry-colored juice. Tastes even better served with ice.

• 4-5 Carrots
• 1-2 Beet
• 1 Large Apple
• 1 inch of Ginger
• Juice of 1 Lime
• 2-3 tablespoons of Germinated Hemp Seed Protein

Cucumber, Apple, Ginger & Hemp Juice

This juice is a great hydrator thanks to the cucumber, a natural diuretic that aids cell hydration and waste removal, and dissolves kidney stones. Cucumber’s high silica count is great for the skin, helping to alleviate eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and strengthen nails. High in vitamins B complex, C and folic acid, amino acids (methionine and tryptophan), potassium, sulfur, and natural chlorine, cucumber has strong alkalinizing effects, making it a great go-to sugar-free juice base. While apple and ginger have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, hemp adds a powerful phytonutrient and protein boost to this refreshing juice combo. This juice is great for strong hair and smooth skin.

• 1 Cucumber
• 2 Apples, cored (keep the peel on for extra vitamin A)
• 1 inch of ginger
• 2-3 tablespoons of Germinated Hemp Seed Protein
• Juice of 1 Lemon

Kale, Kiwi, Apple, Ginger & Hemp Smoothie

The major benefit of green smoothies is that the fruit and veg are blended meaning they keep all their fiber content. When you feel the need for an extra energy boost, a smoothie is the best option. They’re easy to digest, keep you hydrated and make your skin glow. Because a smoothie contains high amounts of water and fiber, they make you feel fuller for longer, making them great choice for a healthy weight loss program. One of the best things about smoothies is the zest of the fruit neutralizes the greens and makes them super tasty, especially beneficial for people who may not eat greens at lunch or dinner. Smoothies are a great way to stock up on those missing vitamins and minerals. Add hemp protein powder to the mix and create a super smoothie nutrient combo.

• 1 Bunch of Kale
• 3 Kiwis
• 2 Apples
• 1 Inch of Ginger
• 2-3 tablespoons of Germinated Hemp Seed Protein
